CETEARYL ALCOHOL

Cetearyl alcohol is a mixture of the fatty alcohols cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. In cosmetic products, it is primarily used as a co-emulsifier, stabilizer, and consistency agent. It gives creams and lotions a smooth texture, improves the stability of the formulation, and ensures a pleasant feel on the skin.(1)
