To incorporate exfoliation into your routine, follow these steps:

1. Cleansing: First, thoroughly cleanse the skin.

2. Exfoliation: Apply the Active Acids Exfoliating Solution to clean and, most importantly, dry skin.
3. Application time: When using the product for the first time, be sure to leave it on for only a few minutes (3–5 minutes). For subsequent applications, the application time can be increased to a maximum of 10 minutes.
4. Rinsing: Rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water.
5. Moisturizing: Apply a moisturizer such as the Barrier Boost CPA Cream .
6. Sunscreen: Be sure to use sunscreen with SPF 50 every day during the daytime for the next few days.

A fruit acid peel is a type of chemical peel that primarily uses alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) such as glycolic acid and lactic acid. These acids often come from natural sources such as fruits, milk, or sugarcane. This is where the general name "fruit acid" comes from.
