C10-18 TRIGLYCERIDES
C10-18 triglycerides are also known as neutral oil. In cosmetics, they act as both an emollient and a solvent.(1) These compounds consist of three fatty acids esterified with a glycerin molecule.(2-3) Triglycerides, including C10-18 triglycerides, are known in skincare for their moisturizing, skin barrier-protecting, and non-comedogenic properties. They improve the texture and stability of products and promote the absorption of active ingredients, making them suitable for all skin types.
