Beta-glucan is a polysaccharide derived from microorganisms that is used in cosmetic formulations as a water-soluble derivative. It forms a moisturizing film on the skin, supports the skin’s barrier function, and can promote skin regeneration after exposure to stressors. POLYGLUTAMIC ACID AND HYALURONIC ACID

Polyglutamic acid (PGA) is a water-soluble, fermentation-derived biopolymer with strong moisture-binding properties. It forms a protective film on the skin’s surface and helps retain moisture for longer. In addition, PGA can slow the breakdown of hyaluronic acid by inhibiting the activity of hyaluronidase.
